We werenβt sure about this recipe at first, but after trying it, we were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. It earned a place in this book.
Ingredients
- 1 medium head of lettuce, chopped
Dressing
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon anchovy paste (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Β½ cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
- ΒΌ teaspoon black pepper
- ΒΌ teaspoon salt
Steps
- Mix all the dressing ingredients in a salad bowl until smooth.
- Spread the dressing along the inside walls of the bowl.
- Add the chopped lettuce and gently toss to coat with the dressing.
