Premier David Eby announced on March 2nd that BC will permanently adopt daylight saving time, ending the twice-a-year clock changes. On November 1, 2026, clocks will remain the same, completing the transition to a year-round Pacific time zone at UTCβ7. This means BC will be an hour ahead of Washington next winter.
